  1.  For your protien requirement you need to calculate yor body weight multipy by 0.8 for sedentary     individual  .for eg a has body weight of 70 *0.8 = 56gram is the basic requirement
  2. same way u multiply by  5 or 6 to get carbs.
  3. and only 20gms you should add fat in your diet. use olive oil.
     If you want the better result for your protien shake  take it after workout , because after workout your muscle is hungry and the doors of opportunity is open at that time.It will build up very fast.

many individual have the myth that while having protien during workout,it will affect your kidney  but they dont understand if you consume natural protien in excess then to your kidney get affected .
 so you can have it but the amount is matter how much you consuming as per you body needs.
 you can give supplement to your elders and younger one only one serving there will be no harm in that...
